Yapım Aşamasında

Yapım Aşamasında brings together 15 years of artistic production at Arter, exploring not only finished artworks but also the creative processes, collaborations and ideas behind their making. Curated by Emre Baykal, the exhibition presents a selection of works supported by Arter since its founding, alongside new productions created specifically for the exhibition.

The first part features 39 works by 27 artists, spanning different artistic practices and perspectives. Across Arter’s galleries and public spaces, the exhibition explores themes including our relationship with the world, traces and nature, historiography, architecture, memory, space, and the boundaries between public and private.

Rather than presenting art as a finished result, Yapım Aşamasında invites visitors to look at the processes behind artistic production and to consider how works develop through time, space and collaboration. The exhibition also reflects Arter’s own history as an institution dedicated to supporting artistic production in Istanbul.

The exhibition is presented in two stages, with a second section opening in October 2026 and introducing new works and changes to the existing selection.
