Glass Bead Workshop for Ages 9-12

The Glass Bead Workshop for ages 9-12 invites young creatives to explore the art of glass bead-making under the guidance of skilled artist Furkan Kurt. Participants will engage in hands-on activities, using colorful glass rods softened in flames to create unique beads. The workshop emphasizes creativity, allowing attendees to experiment with dotting, lines, and glass particles to form spontaneous designs.

Each child will have the opportunity to make their own beads, which can later be transformed into functional accessories such as necklaces, bracelets, or bag decorations. The workshop is structured to provide one-on-one assistance, ensuring that each participant receives personalized guidance throughout the process.

In addition to crafting, children will learn fundamental techniques in glass shaping, gaining insights into how heat and fluidity affect the material. The workshop also fosters an appreciation for cultural heritage by connecting participants with traditional glassworking practices. Skills such as hand-eye coordination, focus, and patience are developed as children observe the interaction between flame and glass.

To ensure a smooth experience, identity checks will be conducted before the event. This workshop is specifically designed for children aged 9 to 12, and those outside this age range will not be admitted. Tickets can be canceled or refunded up to 48 hours before the event time.
